Big Girl: Beluga
This big, beautiful girl is looking for the perfect windowsill on which to gaze. Beluga is a pure black 2 ½-year-old domestic short haired cat with large yellow-green eyes and has been at the Santa Cruz SPCA for a while now.

She has watched kittens get adopted left and right and continues to wait for someone special who would love to share their home with an adult cat who had a rough past. Beluga would enjoy a quiet household with people who will allow her to just roam the house and be herself. Cuddling and being carried around is not something she enjoys, however, she is a big fan of head rubs, playing with toys and scratching posts, and bathing in the sun.

She is a beautiful cat to watch and is very fun to play with. Beluga would love to be in a single cat household but has shown tolerance for other cats in her living environment. She is litter box trained, spayed, micro-chipped and vaccinated.

If you have a soft spot for a cat like Beluga, please come and meet her at the Santa Cruz SPCA at 2685 Chanticleer Ave. in Santa Cruz, or call the Adoption Center at 831-465-5000 with questions. Also, visit them on the web at http://www.santacruzspca.org.
